Winter Love

Sitting on a chair
Citing a little ardent prayer
Asking Him above to grant the desires of my heart
Almost too beautiful cold morning to start
Stared frozenly at the window
Enchanted with the white soft fluffy snow
Thinking about you, Oh just you
That one day, you came out of the blue
Though fragile from the past
Hoping not to grab a spear for the third cast
Looking up the clouds scudding through the sky
Wondering about and starting to ask why
Though wearing a thick woolen and knitted sweater
Snow glistens the sunlight, still making me colder
Wishing that you're here to keep me warm
Lingering on our happy thoughts, forming like a swarm
Oh, the bright winter sky
And the white frosty snow makes me cry
Missing you so much like a child
In a cold evening clutched a blanket and smiled
Your sweet words ampled me with joys from the start
Like a hot cocoa warming my frozen heart
Such joy tells me to keep you
A love so true
When you said, "I love you."
The morbid silence of pain in me flew
And there was a cold brief awkward moment, "Oh boy.."
It gave me a momentarily burst of joy.
Yes, red cherries popped everywhere
Leaving a radiant delicate flare
Burning the coldness I felt inside
Left the chilling streams of fear in me dried
"Babe, I love you too".
I could stare at you while drinking the tea, I brew
The road to forever may seemed dimly visible
Yet, with you, everything will be possible.
